Jonathan D. Bresler

Managing Partner - EJF Ventures

Jonathan is responsible for the management of EJF Ventures. Jonathan joined EJF in 2009 as an analyst covering the financial sector and was also involved in the portfolio management of financials-focused hedge and private equity funds.

Jonathan presently serves on the boards of Verady, Inc. (dba. Ledgible) and Original Tech, Inc. (dba Prelim). He previously served on the board of Texan Bank, a Houston-based community bank and was a board observer for several other investments. Jonathan holds a BBA in Finance and Real Estate from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and is a member of the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle.

Michael Cherepnin

Partner – EJF Ventures

Michael is based in London and is involved in all aspects of investment sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio support. He is also responsible for driving EJF’s broader financial technology investment efforts in Europe.

Prior to joining EJF, Michael was a Vice President at Evercore where he advised financial technology and software companies on M&A and capital markets transactions. He began his career as an investment banker in Ukraine covering Central and Eastern Europe.

Michael holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BSc. in Economic Cybernetics from the National Technical University of Ukraine.
