Casey Crooks, CPA

Tax Director

Mr. Crooks joined EJF in 2019 and is responsible for the tax matters and function of EJF Capital as well as the EJF managed investment funds.

Prior to joining EJF, Mr. Crooks was the Director of International Tax Structuring and Deal Execution at King Street Capital (“King Street”) in New York. While at King Street, Mr. Crooks was responsible for the investment structuring and tax matters of King Street’s investment funds in multiple asset classes including liquid and illiquid securities, real estate, private equity, shipping and oil & gas located within the U.S. and non-U.S. Prior to joining King Street, Mr. Crooks worked at The Carlyle Group (“Carlyle”) on the tax matters related to Carlyle’s international corporate private equity funds. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Crooks worked at Ernst & Young LLP. He graduated from James Madison University with a BBA in Accounting. Mr. Crooks is a certified public accountant in Virginia.

Password Security
